Sky Islands Traverse: Saguaro NP

It is spring in Saguaro National Park. And living things congregate around the water sources. I lie on a rock nearby, listening, observing.

I forget about myself.

There are purple, pink, yellow, blue, and white wild flowers. A bone in the water and a buzz of bees and flies. Baby rabbits and javalinas run and hide. The decrescendo laugh of a bird.

The sun shifts. Time to move.
